Chicklet, our pet chicken helps in lowering our grocery bills by laying one green edible egg per day. In return she is welcomed into our home to share some treats whenever she wants to. She is a free roaming chicken. Her diet consists of a variety of chicken feed, as well as various seeds, human treats, insects, and worms. Her eggs are green due to genetics (species of chicken) not by the food she ingests. She was purchased from a local feed store when she was about 4weeks+ old and she's about 2.5 years old. She's extremely intelligent and a great "watch chicken".
